The commodity listed is specific to the class and item that is featured, along with a UN, NA, or ID number. These labels allow you to properly label packages or cartons and to specify what type of hazardous material is contained within the package you are shipping. It allows those handling the package to take the necessary safety measures to prevent an accident.
