They keep their overhead low and devote more funds to their immensely helpful programs and services by accepting donations for office furniture, equipment and supplies. This includes everything from photocopiers and fax machines to office desks and chairs. If you donate office supplies, you’ll receive an acknowledgment letter confirming the value of your gift will be provided for tax purposes. Contact your local MDA office to inquire about donations.

2. Develop Africa

Another great organization you can support with your office supply donations is Develop Africa. This nonprofit supports children in African nations by providing school supplies, scholarships, computer training and much more to schools. If you have extra office essentials to donate, visit Develop Africa’s donation page. Items like pencils, paper, markers and more are accepted whether they are new or gently used.

3. Recycles.org

At Recycles.org, you can easily offer up office supplies donations for a number of charities. All you have to do is list what you have available. Then, nonprofits’ administrators can search the website and contact you if they’re interested. It’s an easy way to find another use for equipment, furniture and supplies that are collecting dust around your office.
